Terms of Service
The rules for using Meetline
Last updated: October 17, 2025
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Meetline, Inc. (“Meetline”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using Meetline, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you are using Meetline on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. What Meetline Provides
Meetline is a payments-first link for paid 1:1 meetings. Creators set up a booking page, define pricing, and connect Stripe to be paid before a call begins. Requesters choose a creator, submit availability, and complete payment to reserve time.
We facilitate scheduling, reminders, and payment processing but do not participate in or control the conversations between creators and requesters.
3. Platform Role (Facilitator Only)
Meetline is a software platform and facilitator. We do not provide, control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the services or advice offered by creators. Any agreement for a meeting is solely between the creator and the requester.
4. Merchant of Record; Stripe
Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe. By using Meetline you also agree to the Stripe Services Agreement.
For transactions via Stripe Connect, the creator is the Merchant of Record and is responsible for pricing, delivery, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, and compliance. Meetline may charge platform fees and deduct them from payouts.
5. Account Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and immediately notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Creators must maintain a connected Stripe account in good standing to receive payouts and agree that Meetline may collect platform fees from each transaction.
6. Payments, Fees, and Taxes
Depending on the offering, Meetline or Stripe may authorize a hold, capture the full amount immediately, or collect a deposit. Platform fees are deducted prior to payout.
Creators are solely responsible for reporting income and paying any applicable taxes (including VAT/BTW). Meetline may provide invoices for platform fees charged to creators.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Requesters may cancel according to the window set by the creator; late cancellations may forfeit deposits or payments.
Creators may issue refunds via their dashboard. Meetline and/or Stripe may charge non-refundable processing fees in certain cases.
If a creator fails to deliver a scheduled session, Meetline may refund the requester and recover or offset amounts from the creator.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use Meetline for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities, including harassment, misrepresentation, infringement, or facilitating prohibited services without required licenses.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to users or the platform.
9. Intellectual Property & Content
Meetline retains ownership of the platform and related IP. You grant us a limited license to host and display content you upload solely to operate the service.
Creators remain fully responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings, materials, and advice. We may remove content alleged to be infringing.
10. Disclaimers (No Professional Advice)
Content shared during meetings is provided by creators and may represent opinions, not professional advice. Use at your own risk.
Meetline is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meetline will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the platform fees you paid to Meetline in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meetline and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your meetings, advice, or content; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of law or third-party rights.
13. Service Changes; Suspension
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve performance or protect users and the platform.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, suspected fraud, non-payment, or risk to users.
14. Changes & Termination
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version with the “Last updated” date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
You may stop using Meetline at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including payments, IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive termination.
15. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
