Meetline helps experts run paid 1:1 meetings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our site or use our product.

We collect information you provide and data that helps us deliver a reliable experience:
- Account details: name, email, password (hashed), timezone, bio, and profile media.
- Booking data: requester contact details, availability, messages, and links supplied.
- Payments & payouts: processed by Stripe. Card data is handled by Stripe and not stored on Meetline servers.
- Usage data: device/browser, IP address, referral URL, and activity logs (e.g., sign-in, meeting creation, checkout).
- Analytics data: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for page views and events. See Cookies & Tracking.
- Support conversations, feedback, and survey responses you choose to provide.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to operate and improve Meetline:
- Authenticate users, enable bookings, process payments, and issue payouts.
- Send transactional emails and notifications for scheduling and updates.
- Provide support, troubleshoot, and enforce our Terms.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Analyze aggregated/de-identified patterns to improve performance and build new features.
4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
We process personal data under these legal bases:
- Contract: to provide Meetline and fulfill bookings, payments, and payouts.
- Legitimate interests: to secure services, prevent abuse, and understand product usage.
- Consent: for optional analytics where required.
- Legal obligations: tax, accounting, and compliance recordkeeping.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary to run the service:
- Stripe (including Stripe Connect) for payment processing and payouts.
- Supabase for database, authentication, and storage.
- Resend for transactional email delivery.
- Google services used to create/join meetings (e.g., Google Meet/Calendar) if you connect them.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for product/website analytics.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that securely store or process data on our behalf.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Optional analytics (GA4) helps us understand performance.
EEA/UK: where required, we show a consent prompt. You can also control cookies in your browser settings and use Google's opt-out tools.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to deliver the service. Typical periods include:
- Account and booking data: retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 30-90 days after account deletion, subject to legal holds.
- Payment/payout records: up to 7 years for tax and accounting.
- Server/security logs: typically 30-90 days unless needed for investigations.
- Backups: persist for a limited period and are purged on a rolling schedule.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards—encryption in transit and at rest where available, access controls, least-privilege, and regular reviews. No system is completely secure; use strong, unique passwords and device protections.
9. International Transfers
If you access the service from the EEA/UK or other regions, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your region (including the United States). Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or comparable safeguards.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to withdraw consent.
